Jessica Mauboy Launches Her Own Fashion Line!

The stunning Jessica Mauboy proved just how multi-talented she is yesterday, when she launched her latest project, a five-dress fashion range to be sold in Myer stores nation wide.

Jess has joined with label KuKu to create dresses that she says accentuates the best features of healthy curvy girls like her!

"They're party dresses and I like to think they're sexy and cute," she said of the dresses she helped create.

"I'm not a designer at all! I love creating music but in a way I used the same techniques to create ideas for the dresses with colours and styles and how they fit together."

"I came in with nine dress ideas but we had to cut the list down to five and they're each named after one of my songs."

The dresses are each made of light, easy-to-wear materials and are brightly coloured in citrus yellows, purples, oranges and more.

In addition to the fashion and music worlds, 22-year-old Mauboy will play a lead role in a film The Sapphires, due to be screened in 2012.
